The Similan Islands – overnight on a superyacht

Around 100 km north of Phuket lie the Similan Islands, reached on voyages of two nights or more aboard Eternal Pearl 102 or Grand Serenade 139 – a remote setting for a honeymoon. The national park closes from mid-May to mid-October.

Choosing your date

From November to April the sea is at its calmest, the water at its clearest and sunsets are most reliable – the classic months for Phi Phi and the Racha islands. May to October belongs to the south-west monsoon, with livelier swell and passing showers; sheltered Phang Nga Bay stays an option all year, and sunset cruises sail whenever the weather allows. Safety is always the captain’s call.
